The GSMA seeks a talented and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to support its Mobile World Live branded services across international markets.
Mobile World Live (www.mobileworldlive.com) is the GSMA’s online media service. It is a fast growing arm of the GSMA responsible for editorial services including the Mobile World Live Daily e-newsletter, weekly e-newsletters focused on the apps, devices and money space, an Asia regional edition and Chinese, Spanish & French language editions. In addition, the division produces Mobile World Live TV, the award-winning official broadcast service of Mobile World Congress.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a deep understanding of digital media and experience in implementing successful B2B media campaigns. The role requires someone who is flexible, ideally with experience of working in global teams across different time-zones. Whilst the majority of the work will be carried out at the GSMA’s offices in London, travel will be required from time-to-time.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Supporting the Marketing Director with the implementation of marketing campaigns to deliver the overall marketing strategy and objectives Creating email campaigns to support particular products and messages using the GSMA’s email marketing tool (Eloqua) Working with an external agency to create campaign assets for implementation Working with external agency to drive search marketing campaigns, and other third parties as required Utilisation of campaign effectiveness measures in order to optimise campaigns and make amendments to campaign approach / messaging Monthly reporting on site traffic including web traffic, email delivery and campaign results with details on actions necessary to improve all areas
Specific criteria and competencies required:
Digital marketing experience in the B2B market
Online Media/Publishing experience preferred
Proven success developing and implementing B2B marketing campaigns that deliver commercial impact
Proven success managing international campaigns and tailoring requirements to different regions
Experience in working with email marketing tools (specifically Eloqua would be an advantage)
Experience with contact databases
Advanced Excel skills
Extensive understanding of Google Analytics for marketing effectiveness reporting and client reporting
Collaborative in nature
Degree level qualification or equivalent
